Andi has just played the leading Villain and other quirky characters in whacky radio play Bullet: A Superhero Comedy as part of Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
The Herald Sun names Andi as the
"stand-out as Russian-accented baddie Dostoyana Ursine."
Aussie Theatre says:
"Chief villain Dostoyana Ursine (Andi Snelling) is given abundant pathological rage and loathing and very nearly steals the show...
Clearly not about to be limited by the radio play format, Snelling contorted her face to show disdain and malevolence, and made her fellow actors call on superhuman reserves of stoicism to avoid laughing."
Triple R says:
"Andi Snelling in particular wound herself so tightly up into cackling, sociopathic knots as the ruthless Russkie rotter, "Dostoyana Ursine" that at times I feared for her tendons!"
Andi is chuffed to learn that I Am A Great Man - a film she shot in London - has received distribution in the UK, Ireland and North America as of May 2012.
Andi is performing as Malcolm in Macbeth and Lucy in Cosi for Eagle's Nest Theatre's Touring Ensemble.
An exhibition entitled Dolls in which Andi was photographed as Ragdoll by UK photographer Jeremy Williams, will be on display in Can't Think Straight Gallery, 41 Vincent Street, Daylesford throughout May-June, as well as being exhibited in the UK.
